East Moline Spartans Win Muscatine Tournament, Chasing Top Ten Ranking

The 08 East Moline Silvis Soccer Club Spartans were already ranked in the top 15 in the state going into the Muscatine Soccer Club tournament June 9, and after a thoroughly dominating performance, it’s justifiable to see them chasing a top ten ranking soon. The Spartans completely demolished their opponents, outscoring AYSO, Quad Cities Rush and the home team of Muscatine Soccer Club by a combined goal total of 18-1. Try Melon Tri Indoor Triathlon Takes Place this Weekend!

Join the Muscatine Community YMCA for the 24th Annual Indoor Triathlon! The Try Melon Tri Indoor Triathlon takes place this Sunday Jan 27 at the Muscatine Community YMCA (1823 Logan St. Muscatine). Events for this amazing event are a 1/2 mile swim, a 5 mile Keiser M3i Cycle bike ride (level 10), and a 2 1/2 mile run. Muscatine Boxing Club Heading to Silver Gloves Regional Boxing Tournament

Help support the Muscatine Boxing Club this weekend! The 2019 Silver Gloves Regional Boxing Tournament takes place this Friday Jan 4 and Saturday Jan 5 at Rockford Flinn Middle School (2525 Ohio Parkway Rockford).  Doors open at 6 p.m. and boxing fights will start at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Admission is $10 for adults and children under 10 are $5. This tournament will consist of the best young athletes coming out of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
