Coat Drive Keeping Muscatine Kids Warm

With colder weather just around the corner, it’s time to make sure all Muscatine children have coats to keep warm! The United Way of Muscatine and Community Actions have teamed up together for a Coats for Kids Coat Drive! The drive kicks off this Sunday Sep 9 and continue through Saturday Sep 15. Slightly used or new coats for infants through high school students are needed! Did you know that Muscatine County currently has 5,000 people who don’t know where they are going to get their next meal? Half of those are children. Now is the time to help! Thanksgiving in July, the community food drive hosted by United Way of Muscatine, will be wrapping up this weekend. So, there is still time to do your part!
