Join the Muscatine YMCA on a Million Mile Challenge!

Whether you are a casual walker or avid marathoner, the Muscatine Community YMCA needs your help! The Muscatine Community YMCA is hosting a Million Mile Challenge to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation: Childhood Cancer Foundation! Register at the Muscatine Community YMCA (1823 Logan St. Muscatine) for $20 (includes t-shirt) and log your miles in the month of September. Your personal goal is to log 200 miles for those biking, 125 miles for those walking or running, or 165 for those doing a combination of walking/running/biking during the challenge. Do you think you have what it takes to win a Lip Sync Battle? Well now is your opportunity! Join the fun on the stage or in the crowd at the Missipi Brew (107 Iowa Ave Muscatine) this Tuesday Jun 12 from 5-10 p.m. at the Lip Sync Battle with DJ Host Tony Tone! Teams of 1-4 people will compete with their choice of song. The Youth and Family Division will begin at 6 p.m. and the Adult Division will begin at 7:30 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams in each division. Run Down To The Kids Triathlon

Calling all Muscatine kids! It’s time to show what you got! The Muscatine YMCA’s 11th Annual Kids Triathlon is happening this Saturday June 2 from 1-4 p.m. at the Muscatine YMCA soccer fields (1823 Logan St. Muscatine). Open to youth up to 12 years old, this triathlon is like none other! The concept of swim, bike and run have been modified to ‘swimming’ through a 14-ft water slide and a 75-ft slip-n-side, biking on Big Wheels and tricycles and running through water hazards, hopping into mud puddles, and jumping over hay bales.
