The Muscatine Community YMCA is hosting a Million Mile Challenge to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation: Childhood Cancer Foundation! Register at the Muscatine Community YMCA (1823 Logan St. Muscatine) for $20 (includes t-shirt) and log your miles in the month of September.

Your personal goal is to log 200 miles for those biking, 125 miles for those walking or running, or 165 for those doing a combination of walking/running/biking during the challenge. The Team goal is 16,000 Miles and to raise $1200 for ALSF! All registration $$ will go to ALSF (minus t-shirt cost). Nonmembers signing up will receive a non-transferable punch card to use in the month of September at the Y. Registration is going on NOW…Volvo will donate $10 for all recruits added to the team before August 30th!

Whether you are a casual walker or jogger, an avid cyclist or marathoner, YOU can make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer. To show support for and bring awareness to Childhood Cancer Month, participants of all ages will walk, run or cycle as many miles as possible all month long while raising money to help kids with cancer. The goal is to collectively walk, run or ride a million miles and raise $1 million during the month of September.
