Calling all wizards and muggles! Come together for a Welcoming Feast and Spring Potter Festival this weekend!

Muscatine Community College is hosting the 2018 Spring Potter Festival this Friday May 18 and Saturday May 19 at The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center (119 Mississippi Drive West Muscatine).

Kick off the festivities on Friday May 18 from 6-10 p.m. at Hogwarts Great Hall (The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center Grand Ballroom). This feast will include sorting into houses, Professor Dumbledore’s opening remarks and faculty and students performing magic and mischief. Hundreds of plates will be set on each of the four House tables, filled with food magically appearing on the empty plates, prepared by house-elves working in the kitchens below.

The fun continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. with the Spring Potter Festival. Come meet your favorite Harry Potter characters and experience the fun in this magical world of wizardry. Enjoy Kidditch play in the morning, Owl Shows, Butterbeer, Collegiate Quidditch Cup tournament, Bangers & Mash, Cosplay and much more!
