Looking for a fun-filled weekend while celebrating the memory of a loved community member?

Mike’s Hilltop Tap (929 Lucas St. Muscatine) is hosting their 10th Annual Blaine Bermel Poker Run, this Saturday Sep 22!

Blaine Bermel, a great friend of and a regular at Mike’s Hilltop Tap, passed away on May 29, 2007 due to injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a deer. To keep his memory alive and help raise funds for the local Humane Society, the Blaine Bermel Poker Run was created.

The Blaine ‘O Tornado Memorial Ride will begin sign-ups at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. The cost is only $10 per person. The ride includes all modes of transportation.

At 10 a.m., riders will make a stop at the cemetery to pay their respects. The ride then continues to Psycho Silo Saloon (Intersection of Rt 40 and US-6, Sheffield). The goal is to be back at Mike’s Hilltop Tap by 5 p.m., where the party continues!

Make plans to enjoy food, drinks, music, prizes and fun at Mike’s Hilltop Tap Saturday night! Party the night away with live music from Dinosaur Mob in the beer garden from 5-9 p.m.
