Sharing your legacy with those you love. This is something most of us hope to accomplish but may not know exactly how to go about it.

Join journalist Robin Grunder at the Legacy Writing Workshop this Thursday Aug 16 from 1-2 p.m. at Sunnybrook at Muscatine Assisted Living (3515 Diana Queens Dr. Muscatine).

A legacy letter is a perfect way to convey your wishes, values, beliefs and desires with your surviving family members. These ‘ethical wills’ can be documented and preserved to share with your descendants for decades to come. And while these moral communications are perfect to pass on, you may not be sure exactly how to create or even start one.

Robin Grunder will share the importance of documenting family history, memories and life experiences for the purpose of leaving a written legacy for all those who follow you. You’ll receive writing prompts to help you begin or continue writing the stories that matter.

Come learn more about this 3,500-year-old tradition, while preserving your own legacy.
