Spring is here, which means it’s time to start getting those gardens planted!

Come get your hands dirty with Sunnybrook Assisted Living (3515 Diana Queens Dr Muscatine) at their Green Thumb Gardening Party this Saturday May 19 from 1-3 p.m.

Help welcome spring and beautify the Courtyard! The Sunnybrook Gardening Club has been working closely with the Muscatine County Conservation Board to grow plants for their Vegetable and Butterfly Gardens. It is now finally time to get those plants in the ground!

Even if you don’t plan to use your green thumb, come along and enjoy time with friends, treats and flowerpot decorating.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a donation for the Memories Start with Us- Muscatine Alzheimers Walk. Also make sure to vote for your favorite Flower Pot creation submitted by local organizations as part of the first Annual Flower Pot Challenge!

There is truly something for everyone at this year’s Green Thumb Gardening Party!
