The rappel down the Laurel Building will commence this Friday!

Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics, and the Chamber Ambassadors are taking fundraising to heights our community has never seen before, literally! A number of brave Edgers will have the opportunity to rappel down Stanley Consultants’ Laurel Building, in exchange for donations back to these three non-profits.

Over the Edge will take place this Thursday Oct 18 and Friday Oct 19 in the 200 block of Iowa Avenue in Muscatine.

Thursday at 5 p.m. the fun kicks off with live entertainment from Joey Peate, On the Wall band and Matt Hepker. Young Professionals Network and Chamber Ambassadors will also host Business After Hours.

The fun continues Friday at 9 a.m. Throughout the day, you can enjoy music from a DJ, food, drinks and raffles. The Kid Zone will be open from 3 – 5 p.m. and live entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with Aftershock, followed by the Tim Stop Band at 9 p.m.
