Hey Muscatine, it’s time to come together as a community and help support the American Cancer Society. That’s right, it’s Relay For Life time!

Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, and is happening this Saturday Jun 9 from 4-9 p.m. on Iowa Avenue and Second Street in Muscatine. Come enjoy live music, celebrate survivors and remember those we have lost.

The day will begin with an Opening Ceremony. Everyone who has been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year’s event will be celebrated.

Survivors and Caregivers will then be honored for their strength and courage with every step they take, during the Survivor/Caregiver Walk.

The Luminaria Ceremony comes next. Each light represents a life—a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or a support for a person still fighting the disease. This powerful demonstration will leave you in awe.

Commit to taking action and fighting for a world free of cancer during the Closing Ceremony.
