Eagles & Ivories Ragtime Weekend in Muscatine!

It’s officially time for the 25th Annual Eagles & Ivories Ragtime Weekend!

Co-sponsored by Muscatine County Arts Council and Muscatine Art Center, Eagles & Ivories Ragtime Weekend features Ivory & Gold with Jeff Barnhart and Anne Barnhart. The fun kicks off Thursday Jan 24 and continues through Sunday Jan 27.

Here is a list of the activities planned this year:

Thursday Jan 24

7 p.m.                                Concert with Ivory & Gold featuring Jeff & Anne Barnhart and Marty Mincer at

The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center. (119 W. Mississippi Drive)

 

Friday Jan 25

9:30 – 10:30 a.m.            Free Kick Off Concert at Sunnybrook (3515 Diana Queen Drive Muscatine)

5 – 7 p.m.                         Soup Supper with music by Mad Creek Mudcats at Wesley United Methodist Church (400 Iowa Avenue Muscatine)

7 p.m.                                Concert with Ivory & Gold featuring Jeff & Anne Barnhart, Marty Mincer, Barhart’s Button City Blasters! featuring Andy Schumm, trumpet, John Otto, reed, Tom Bartlett, trombone, Jeff Barnhart, piano and Josh Duffe, drums at Wesley United Methodist Church.

10 p.m.                              After hours at The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center (119 W. Mississippi Drive) featuring Mad Creek Mudcats and Marty Mincer.

 

Saturday Jan 26

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.                Eagle Watch at Pearl City Station, 200 West Riverfront. (in Riverfront Park) Presentations by Corps of Engineers Park Rangers & Dave Bakke, Naturalist. Eagle Watch is free.

12 p.m.                              Silent Movies at the Muscatine Art Center.

2 p.m.                                Concert at Muscatine Art Center at 1314 Mulberry Avenue featuring Dr. David Majchzak.

5 – 7 p.m.                         Syncopation Supper at Wesley United Methodist Church at 400 Iowa Avenue featuring music by the Locust Street Boys.

7 p.m.                                Concert with Ivory & Gold featuring Jeff & Anne Barnhart, Barhart’s Button City Blasters! featuring Andy Schumm, trumpet, John Otto, reed, Tom Bartlett, trombone, Jeff Barnhart, piano and Josh Duffe, drums at Wesley United Methodist Church

10 p.m.                              Afterhours featuring Locust Street Boys and Dr. David Majczak at Merrill Hotel & Conference Center (119 W. Mississippi Drive, Muscatine).

 

Sunday Jan 27

10 a.m.                              Ragtime/Jazz Gospel Worship Service featuring Mad Creek Mudcats at Wesley United Methodist Church at 400 Iowa Avenue and Faith United Church of Christ at 3307 Mulberry Avenue.

Concert by Ivory & Gold featuring Jeff Barnhart and Anne Barnhart at Muscatine Art Center at 1314 Mulberry Avenue.

2 p.m.                                THE MUSIC THAT MADE AMERICA GREAT!

JOIN IVORY & GOLD AS THEY CELEBRATE 500 YEARS OF MUSIC IN AMERICA.

 

Ticket pricing info:

Entire 4-day concert package = $70.00.

Thursday evening concert = $15.00

Friday evening concert = $20.00

Saturday Afternoon Silent Movies = $5.00

Sunday Afternoon Concert = $15.00

Saturday Evening Concert = $20.00

Sunday Afternoon Concert = $15.00

Children 16 and under are free to all events

Eagle Watch is free
