Musser Public Library is new and improved and ready to celebrate it’s Grand Opening!

You’re invited to come enjoy the brand-new Musser Library and HNI Community Center’s (304 Iowa Ave Muscatine) Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday Jun 30!

This all-ages, family-friendly day will be filled with activities, puppet shows, live music and more!


Here a full run-down of the events for the Celebration:

11 a.m.               Uncle Rabbit Puppet Show with the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre

1 p.m.                 Finger Puppet-Making Workshop

3 p.m.                 Ribbon Cutting

3:30 p.m.            Little Red Riding Hood Puppet Show

4 p.m.                 Live Music from Opening Artist Adam Griffin

7 p.m.                 Main Performance by FunkDaddies


Bring a lawn chair for the musical performances. While the new facility has a lot of parking, there will also be parking available at First National Bank.

If you are a resident of Muscatine (including rural Muscatine Co.) and you don’t already have a library card, this is the day to do it! Bring a photo ID and proof of current address to receive your access to this amazing new facility. Children under 12 will need the photo ID and signature of a parent or guardian.
